Information is stored securely using password-protected devices and secure digital systems. Paper records, where used, are stored securely.

 

Video or audio recordings are taken only with consent, used for clinical purposes, and deleted once relevant notes have been made.

 

The minimum amount of confidential information is transported outside of the office base, and appropriate security measures are always applied.

 

 

Retention of records

 

In line with legal and professional guidance, records are retained until a child reaches the age of 25. After this time, records are securely destroyed.

 

 

 

Your rights

 

You have the right to:

 

  • Request access to personal data we hold

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances

 

 

Requests can be made in writing or by email. Records are provided free of charge within one month of a valid request.
